Please be sensible and respect both the Hideaway Cabin and Hilda.

We cannot accept any responsibility for any accidental personal injury occurring on site, including within Hilda, the Hideaway Cabin or the wider site.

The Hideaway Cabin has an opening canopy door which requires two people to open it. We cannot accept any responsibility for any personal injury associated with opening the cabin front door and you do so at your own risk.

Please be aware that Hilda has been lovingly handmade, we have done our best to make her safe for everyone, but you still may find sharp edges & rough wood. Please do not run your hand along the walls as you may get splinters, especially with little ones.

You are welcome to explore the woodland around the Hideaway Cabin, but you do so entirely at your own risk. The woodland is wild (i.e. not managed) with dead wood left standing for wildlife and therefore there is a risk of tree fall.

In Hilda, please do not use the ladder up onto the roof, or climb out of any emergency exits, doors, hatches and windows (rear & side), if you do, you do this at your own risk and we cannot take any responsibility for any personal injury. Please only use the emergency exits during an emergency.

Wood can be purchased at our on-site honesty shop.

For Hilda, guests can bring firewood as long as it's dry and will fit into the wood burner. Only kindling can be used for the wood burner at 20cm in length maximum. Logs can be brought too for the firepit.
