We've only just begun the journey of documenting the many forms of wildlife around Castle Wild Camp. We're creating 35 more acres of wildlife rich habitat so we expect to see massive increases in the number of species that make this special place their home.

We work closely with a number a researchers who are carefully recording the wildlife within the site over time. We also hold an annual bioblitz, this is a weekend where lots of us get together to try to record everything in the site. Volunteers are most welcome for this event so please let us know if you'd like to attend.
